2. Overview
We process personal data only to the extent that this is necessary for the operation of this website, for the booking and provision of our services or for communication with you, or where you have given your consent. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual measures), point (c) (legal obligations), point (f) (legitimate interests) and point (a) (consent). We do not sell any data and do not use any analytics or advertising trackers.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. When you access the website, the server automatically stores access data (date and time, page accessed, referrer, browser and operating system, IP address in shortened form). This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is automatically deleted after a short time.
4. Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies (§ 25 Abs. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR):
- pll_language – stores the selected language, lifetime 1 year.
- woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_* – store the contents of your shopping cart during the booking process, lifetime of up to 2 days.
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* – only if you log in to your customer account, for the duration of the session.
5. Bookings and orders
If you book a service, we process the data you provide in the order form (name, e-mail address, telephone number, billing address, booked service, information about your dog, if you provide it) as well as your consent to the early start of the service. The purpose is the performance of the contract, the coordination of appointments and invoicing (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Payment is made by invoice; we do not use payment service providers.
We retain invoices and accounting-relevant documents for up to 10 years on the basis of commercial and tax law obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, § 147 AO, § 257 HGB). We delete other order data when it is no longer required for the performance of the contract.
We send order confirmations and invoices by e-mail via the e-mail service of our hosting provider IONOS.
6. Customer account
You can voluntarily create a customer account. We then store your login credentials and orders until you have the account deleted (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
7. Contact by e-mail, telephone or messenger
If you contact us, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to arrange an appointment (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as your enquiry has been finally dealt with and there are no retention obligations. If you write to us via a messenger (e.g. WhatsApp or Telegram), the privacy terms of the respective provider also apply.
8. Live chat (tawk.to)
For the chat on our website we use tawk.to, a service of tawk.to inc., 187 East Warm Springs Rd, Suite B285, Las Vegas, NV 89119, USA. The chat widget is only loaded when you click the chat button; before that, no data is sent to tawk.to. After the click, your IP address, browser data and the page you are viewing are sent to tawk.to, and tawk.to may use cookies and local storage. If you use the chat, tawk.to also processes the content of your messages and, where applicable, your name and e-mail address. Data may be transferred to the USA. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking the chat button (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG) or, for enquiries about a booking, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the site data in your browser. More information: tawk.to privacy policy.
9. Videos (YouTube)
On the homepage we show a video preview image, which is loaded from our own server. The video itself is only loaded when you click it, in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Only then are your IP address and further data sent to Google; a transfer to the USA is possible. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG). 10. Google reviews
We display reviews from our Google business profile. Our server retrieves these directly from Google and caches them; when you visit our website, no data about you is transmitted to Google in the process.
11. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other providers.
12. Links to social networks
We refer to our Instagram profile only by simple links. Only when you click on a link do you reach Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.); their privacy terms apply there.
13. Photos and videos from training
We take photos or videos during training only with your consent, and publish them (e.g. on the website or on Instagram) only with your separate consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
14. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and withdrawal of consent given (Art. 7(3)). Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An e-mail to info@munichdogtrainer.de is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA) (Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, www.lda.bayern.de.
15. Changes
We will amend this privacy policy if the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here at the relevant time applies.
